Creative Writing
Creative writing is the emphasis of my studies at BYU-Idaho, and it is through this medium of expression and connection that I have discovered a little more about human nature, how people think, and the innate desire we all have to be successful in our studies and in our lives.
After reading many of my works, my creative writing teacher, fiction writer Jack Harrell, praised me for my ability to understand how people think and work in this letter.

The Road Not Taken
My experiences with research writing have taught me how to effectively research and correctly cite, as well as how to combine my own thoughts with the thoughts of those whose ideas I borrow. I am able to explain this skill to other students, and to tutor them as they do their own research.

Travel Writing
