I have been a student at Brigham Young University-Idaho for the past seven semesters, and I will graduate on April 10, 2009 with my Bachelor of Science in English. As you will see in my transcript, I have worked diligently to maintain a cumulative 3.96 GPA throughout my college career.

Special Projects

As a student at BYU-Idaho, I have participated in many special projects including:

    -A twenty-hour research project exploring the different theories of teaching children to read, including an examination of the Whole Language and Phonics Based approaches;

    -Being a staff editor for a forty-five page student publication Hygeia, a women's health magazine; and,

    -Working as the sole editor of the BYU-Idaho Reading Center's Weekly Newsletter publication.
